Junior Backend PHP Developer (m/f/d)

Your mission

Help us redefine an entire industry by building the state of the art tools based on modern technologies
Iterate and experiment with prototypes and ship features quickly
Develop and maintain new features for our Core Backend, our website and our admin area
Develop extensions of our service/technology, such as APIs or other integrations
Augment existing engineering infrastructure

Your Skills

1-2+ years of software development experience
Minimum familiarity with our stack: PHP (Laravel) and MySQL
Expertise with API development and integration as well as with Cloud Infrastructure (AWS a plus)
Full-cycle software development experience, high standards with best practices including test automation, static analysis, etc.
Excellent cross-functional communication skills
Bachelor’s in Computer Science or similar technical field of study, or equivalent experience preferred
Ability and desire to learn fast

Nice to Have:

Experience with React
Web-tech start-up experience
Continuous Integration, Delivery and Deployment experience
German language knowledge
