Your mission

Help us redefine an entire industry by building the state of the art tools for veterinarians based on modern technologies
Develop and maintain new features for our Core Backend, our website and our vet software
Develop extensions of our service/technology, such as APIs or other integrations
Augment existing engineering infrastructure
Collaborate with us in person, working in Hybrid "2 days a week in office" mode

Your Skills

5+ years of software development experience
Deep expertise in PHP (Laravel and its ecosystem) and MySQL
Expertise with API development and integration as well as with Cloud Infrastructure (AWS)
Full-cycle software development experience, high standards with best practices including test automation (PHPUnit, Pest), static analysis, etc.
Knowledge of software architecture principles (MVC, SOLID)
Excellent cross-functional communication skills
Ability and desire to understand a rather complex and wide business domain (digital veterinary practice)
Bachelor’s in Computer Science or similar technical field of study, or equivalent experience preferred
Ability and desire to learn fast
CI/CD experience

Nice to Have:

Experience with React
Web-tech start-up experience
German language knowledge
